"Hello everybody!
Continue our journey from Salzburg finally we were on our way to Slovenia. Arrived in Slovenia, Ljubljana, Monday afternoon, having met the following day with our friends Tom, Megan (you may remember them from the Belgian beer weekend). It was beautiful today so I wandered around Ljubljana, toured local architect House bliknik nut, rose up to the Castle Tower, the dinner was at the same great pizza joint as was eaten at night before woandirid around town some more.
After two days in Ljubljana was time to go move to the Karst in Slovenia. This region is the largest cave systems are skokgan caves. Rick Steves describes our guide exactly in the cave as follows: "the first half of the experiment is" dry, "caves with fantastic formations such as caves and what appears to be great. Then you get a huge cave really Al-nihaayah, great river with crashing through the bottom. You feel a bit player in a science fiction movie. A world where you could fly a evil "Oz" monkeys comfy in formation. "What can we say? The tour covers only 1/3 cave system that is still large and impressive.
Libisaner stud farm is a 15 minutes drive from caves, so we decided to ride it as well. Libisaner white horses are used for performance. The best known are the Slovene school of Vienna, but only nice and seems to also provide impressive performances. There was no performance today we visited, so we can tour the farm and learned about birth date only.
From there, we drove up to the coast of Istria in Croatia, first stop in Rovinj.
