"I usually travel, but nothing says. Arrived in Hanoi. It worked great. Also sometimes I have something cultural or historical interest. They don't have many new really. Viet Nam is Hanoi capital and free market economy, and the third world with residues of one-party authoritarian Socialist politician. Also more frenetic than Saigon and "old town" is the most crazy with leakage into the streets, markets, shops and motorcycles mixed with cars, bikes, and pedestrians, sidewalk dining tables refer women stuff floating on their shoulders and seemingly full of old pedicabs unhappy scowling tourists.
Oh, and there are dozens of shops selling counterfeit or copied from CDs and DVDs you want each chapter 18 of the Simpsons $ disk? Angels Mullah original? Vogager Star Trek chapters 1-7? Prison break? You name it-this is your place. Buy CDs 11 for $ 20, but the quality was not clear until you get home. Send an e-mail message if you are interested in every episode of "the l word" or "new" Adventures of Christine.
So what do I do? Anything cultural tours, no, no temples, Temple absolutely not war museums. I didn't even go to Halong Bay, which looks amazing-http://images.google.com.vn/images?gb ... Ong-but presumably fuzzy now and have seen my fair share of karst landscape right now. I went food. Abikorian. Maybe not gourmet, but gorot?
Eat dogs served three different ways. You must take a motorcycle (and scary enough) on the road, about 10 km away from Hanoi which has dozens of restaurants on stilts that specialize in dog meat (Ko thet). Barking can be heard below restaurants. Purported to differentiate between wild dogs eating dogs is kind of pets, but who knows? It was a mixed bag. Applied style steak was good, although a bit dry with taste like mutton. Soup style has been applied, skin a lot which is really thick and chewy, meat pie attached to it. The dish was fried in mid-very much the skin again, but the flesh is skin was beautiful and exciting too.
I ate snake and nine different ways. Again, I had to take a bicycle outside the town of Le mat (village Adder) where there are many restaurants that specialize in snakes. Not cheap and became a tourist attraction, but I went for lunch no dinner, so I (and my driver) got the whole Cobra ourselves. First, you and play with it a bit (you guys have all been bit so much be immune to poison). Then cut and hypertension in bile in one glass bottle seconds with vodka, and still hit the heart to third. Because I was alone, I got the privilege of eating heart, plus drink blood and bile wine. Heart uncooked and the flavor a bit, the blood is good walsfrauet hidden by local vodka really harsh.
Then serve snake soup, fried leather with rice in two types of names in Kong and a few other ways. I also had two different types of snake infused wines. In General, very good-much better than the dog. Rubber and not a lot of flavor is unique, but all different preparations wesaossis was good. When I return, the restaurant offers also CAT, Porcupine, monkey, turtle, lizard.
Last night I ate crickets again and chip-alligators are expected to be similar, and it tasted like chicken proverbial. I found another place goat, but they serve, so I had to solve in a list called "bargain". Guessed means clams and you're right.
Now drinking water. They make a lot of, um, interesting solutions instilling here, I think I tried about 17 of them. One place-highway 4. probably sell 20 or even themselves and provide sampling kits, including fraud and wanton secrets starfish, seahorses, snakes and geckos bathtub inside. I also got 16 oz groboorm glow of alcohol (see pics) to participate in the so-called corner "Hui beer". "Beer Hui" is a beer journal or aunbrisorisid or fresh pasteurized really cheap, I had my first in Hanoi. It is even cheaper here-Dong 3000 or $ 0.18 per glass. It is very mild in flavor and alcohol to the point ... "
